Judy Crabb, MS, LPC

My name is Judy Crabb, and I am co-director/co-owner of Lighthouse Counseling Services. It is a brave decision to seek counseling and I support and applaud your first step toward healing.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Wisconsin as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my training at UW-Whitewater and graduated in 2009 with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling and Certification in School Counseling. I also received additional training in Marriage and Family Therapy.

My mission is to make the world a better place by being a catalyst for positive change, one individual at a time.  My approach to counseling is uniquely tailored to your specific needs and I work with you to develop goals and therapeutic strategies that build on your personal strengths. I also provide a positive, solution-focused, and supportive environment throughout your therapeutic journey, guiding you to make healthy life choices.

You have a personal story that has shaped who you are and what you believe. Your story is important and deserves to be valued and respected. Within you are the keys to unlock the doors that release your true abilities to address life as it presents itself and experience true joy at all times.

My experience includes 12 years of outpatient mental health psychotherapy, 10 teaching in middle school, 4 years of administration of a large daycare, and my current role as co-director of Lighthouse Counseling Services.

I enjoy working with couples, supporting women in their unique issues, and providing useful and practical approaches to dealing with anxiety. Because I believe that relationships are the key to joy and contentment in life, I work with individuals and couples to be the best in their relationships through good communication and loving actions.

My practice also includes working with high school students to provide the best guidance in applying for and choosing the best-fit college that prepares each student for his/her future career goals. The educational and guidance groups I run are focused on helping students through the process of college selection and application to make it a fun and exciting process.

I am honored to help you along your journey of healing.
